Normally with compactness comes more recoil, but the Predator II has a full-length guide rod and a 4.25" coned (wafered) match grade barrel that helps control that recoil. With the Predator barrel system, the felt recoil is less and shot recovery time is much faster than any traditional sized commander 1911 with a bushing barrel. The Predator II features serrations on top of the slide to help reduce glare. A two-piece mainspring housing/magwell comes standard for quick reloads. Heinie Slant Pro Straight Eight tritium night sights offer superior target acquisition, even in low light scenarios. The Predator II receives a nitride finish that is paired with double diamond Cocobolo grips for a classy look.
