The IOS is adaptable to your needs and allows for a low-profile red dot mount with the versatility to switch rear sights in a matter of seconds. With the dovetail cut in the slide, each plate can be removed and still return to zero. This allows you to switch your rear sight quickly and easily without sacrificing aesthetic or function. The cocking serrations have been cut into the plate and hand blended so perfectly, that most people would never notice the cut. This is available on new builds as an upgrade, and is also available to be cut on most existing 1911s, no matter the brand.
