The powerful 40 joule version uses an 88g CO₂ capsule that provides energy for 16 pellets stored in a tubular magazine. The capsule is securely stored in the stock and easily accessible. An optical and tactile pressure indicator shows that the gun is ready to fire. An optional system is available for two separate 12g CO₂ capsules via a separately available Quick-Piercing adapter, which pierces the capsule with a light push of the rear of the stock and provides 24 J of energy.
