MTC Mamba Pro riflescope line derives from the very popular Viper line, with which it shares both the mechanical and the optical components. The Mamba Line differs from the Viper models with its low, covered turrets (also known as hunting type turrets). All the Mamba line riflescopes have one-piece hardened Duralumin tube with 30 mm diameter, clear vision, clearly visible SCB2, 6x magnification (2-12x, 3-18x and 5-30x) and 50 mm in lens diameter.
The cross of the riflescope is the newly improved SCB2, placed in the second focal plane (in front of the eyepiece), keeping the apparent reticle distance constant. SCB2 is a reticle similar in principle to the Mil-Dot reticle, the difference being that the SCB2 uses dots for separating the cross, with its main segments being separated in two halves with smaller dots. The SCB2 reticle is very well-made: it is sufficiently thin, yet not to the point of vanishing. The cross has a backlight with two colours, red and green. The backlight colour and intensity option can be found in the single button placed at the side parallax regulation. The parallax is adjustable within range from 10 yards (9.144 m) up to infinity.
All the riflescope lenses have a multi-coated anti-reflective layer. The riflescope is filled with nitrogen to prevent lens haze. It is frost-proof, waterproof and contains Butler Creek flip-up eyepiece and lens covers.
