The MTC Genesis LR 5-20x50 AMD riflescope was designed by the very founders of MTC, Gari and Sammi Cooper, meeting the shooters’ high demands. The riflescope has a one-part hardened Duralumin tube with 30 mm in diameter, clear vision, clearly visible AMD cross with backlight, side parallax regulation, 50 mm lens diameter and 5-20x magnification. The parallax of the riflescope is adjustable within range of 10 yards (9.144 m) up to infinity.
The cross of the riflescope has a new AMD (Advanced Mil Dot) placed in the second focal plane (in front of the eyepiece), so the cross size stays constant even with zooming. AMD cross combines the advantages of the earlier SCB2 and Mil-Dot crosses. The AMD reticle is very well-made: it’s sufficiently thin, yet not to the point of vanishing. The cross has a red backlight with 11-steps backlight regulation option.
All the riflescope lenses have a multi-coated anti-reflective layer. The riflescope is filled with nitrogen to prevent lens haze. It is frost-proof, waterproof and contains Butler Creek flip-up eyepiece and lens covers.
