Product description

The MTC SWAT Prismatic 10×30 Atom is a compact prismatic riflescope with fixed 10× magnification, designed for shooters who want high magnification in the smallest and lightest possible package.

The model uses SWAT – Super Wide-Angle Technology, which provides an exceptionally wide field of view. According to the manufacturer, the field of view is 10 metres at 100 metres, despite the fixed 10× magnification.

SCB2 Reticle

The riflescope is equipped with an etched SCB2 reticle, providing multiple reference points for elevation and windage correction.

The reticle is illuminated and offers 10 brightness levels, allowing the intensity to be adjusted to current lighting conditions.

Because the riflescope has fixed 10× magnification, the reticle remains at a constant size in relation to the target during use.

Parallax from 6 Metres

The MTC SWAT Prismatic 10×30 Atom allows parallax adjustment from as close as 6 metres all the way to infinity. This makes it particularly suitable for shorter shooting distances commonly encountered with air rifles.

Precise MRAD Adjustments

The elevation and windage turrets provide an adjustment value of:

1 click = 1 cm at 100 m

This corresponds to 0.1 mrad per click.

One full turret revolution provides 42 clicks and an adjustment range of 4.2 mil. The total elevation and windage adjustment range is 17.45 mrad.

Wide Field of View

One of the key advantages of this model is its wide field of view. The manufacturer specifies 10 m at 100 m, which is a particularly impressive value for fixed 10× magnification.

The short 14 mm eye relief is part of the overall prismatic optical design and helps achieve the wide field of view. For this reason, the manufacturer primarily recommends this model for air rifles and other low-recoil firearms.

Compact Construction

Despite offering 10× magnification, the riflescope measures only 123 mm in length and weighs approximately 300 g.

The body has a diameter of 34 mm, and according to the manufacturer, the optics are waterproof, shockproof, fogproof, and nitrogen filled.

Adjustable Mount

The riflescope comes with an adjustable mount, allowing the angle of the entire optic to be adjusted. This can help with mechanically centering the scope and making better use of the available elevation adjustment range.
