Magpul Zhukov-U handguard compared to the original Zhukov handguard, this variant is shorter by 3.8 cm 1 in order to be used on rifles with shorter barrels. The handguard maintains the full length of the grip without restriction and with protection against hand slippage. This version also allows cleaning rods to be placed on military models.
The Zhukov-U shares the same rugged aluminum chassis style as the longer standard Zhukov. This chassis provides strength and heat dissipation mitigation along the forend. The surface is made of highly resistant injected polymer for excellent ergonomics.
The Zhukov-U includes M-LOK slots for attaching accessories and is fully compatible with the UltiMAK rail. Installation requires removal of the handguard bracket.
