- Designed for use on DA / SA models with decocker. Also suitable for DAK models. - Fits 9mm Luger,.357 SIG or.40 S&W pistols - Fits P226 MK25 - Fits P226 E2. For this variant, it is necessary to remove the original screws with the bed and use the screws for the classic P226 variant. The aforementioned screws are available from the Hogue company.
- Not suitable for all-round models. - Not suitable for 226 Legion model. The controls on this model have been modified to hug the gun frame more tightly than the standard 226 models. The release mechanism will not work on the Legion 226 with Hogue grips installed.
- For optimal performance of older SIG P226 models with Hogue grips, it is recommended that the trigger return spring be replaced with the "new" style spring supplied by SIG. SIG redesigned the 226 frame in the mid-1990s, and the new pistols come with a redesigned trigger return spring. SIG recommends using this new spring in older guns as well.
- Clamping bolts should be torqued to 13-15 inch/lbs. Blue loctite is recommended to secure the screws.
