The Discovery D1200 laser rangefinder has a built-in clinometer and the ARC (Angle Range Compensation) function. It is the cheapest and smallest device with this function that the market currently offers, with mere 120x76x38 mm in size. The weight is 278 g. The low price and pocket-size, however, have no bearing on the quality. The discovery D1200 is a compact and easily controllable optical device, which combines a monocular with 8x magnification and a laser rangefinder with ARC function.
All the information is displayed on the built-in LCD display within the visual field. The device is intended for measuring of the distance between non-transparent objects within range of circa 1200 m. The rangefinder is equipped with a laser, which is not dangerous for human eye. The device possesses several measuring modes along with the automatic switch-off after 20 second of inactivity. The rangefinder can be used for a wide array of activities, such as hunting, golf, archery, shooting sports, industrial measuring, topography and tactical use. The design is rubberised and waterproof.
