The tactical Brocock Concept XR air rifle is derived from the Concept Lite model, from which it differs mainly by the use of the side lever action. The Brocock Concept XR air rifle, with its black coating, the collapsible gun stock and a pistol grip also benefits from the mutual cooperation of both Daystate and Brocock producers. The Brocock concept XR is equipped with the improved, patented “Slingshot Hammer” system, which ensures better air dosage and lower consumption. This system, along with the Huma pressure regulator (Dutch-produced), improves the shot consistency, thus putting this air rifle far ahead of its competitors in terms of accuracy.
The rifle has a Lothar Walther barrel 432 mm long. It is a “shrouded” type barrel, meaning the barrel itself is covered with an outer layer, serving as a sound moderator. The barrel is finished with ½ UNF male thread, allowing for further moderator mounting.
The trigger is adjustable, with the safety being placed at the front. The rifle can be reloaded using the side lever action. We see this as the better solution than with the previous Brocock Concept Lite HR model version, where reloading was done with the straight-pull bolt action. The mounting rail for riflescope or collimator sight is of the Weaver type, same as the rail for further mounting of accessories placed at the front part of the stock under the cartridge. The collapsible stock and the pistol grip are fully compatible with AR15 accessories.
The materials used and the collapsible AE15-type gun stock ensure both the lower weight of the rifle – merely 2.9 kg – and compact proportions, with the rifle being 84 cm long overall and 64 cm long when collapsed. Thanks to the Huma regulator and the “slingshot Hammer” system, which guarantees the precise air dosage, and to the choice Luther Walther barrel, this air rifle is perfectly precise and without equal in its price range.
