The BRK (Brocock) Sahara XR HR tactical air rifle is based on the Bantam model, from which it differs mainly in the use of a reloading lever, the so-called Side Lever Action. The BRK XR air rifle in black design with a Kevlar cartridge and a bullpup synthetic stock benefits the most from the mutual cooperation of both manufacturers (Daystate and BRK). The BRK Sahara XR HR has an improved patented "Slingshot Hammer" system that ensures better air distribution and lower consumption. This system, together with the pressure regulator of the Dutch manufacturer Huma, improves the consistency of the shots, the air rifle is far more accurate than the competition.
BRK Sahara XR:
- 4.5 mm, 16 - 24J, 13 ran
- 5.5 mm, 16 - 40J, 11 ran
- 6,35 mm, 16 - 62J, 10 ran
The barrel of the air rifle from the manufacturer Lothar Walther is 432 mm long. The barrel is of the "shrouded" type, i.e. the barrel itself is wrapped in an outer jacket that serves as a noise moderator. The barrel is finished with a 1/2 UNF male thread for mounting an additional moderator.
The trigger of the air rifle is adjustable and there is a fuse in the front part. Reloading the air rifle is done using a side lever - Side Lever Action. We find this solution more convenient than the previous version of the BRK/Brocock Bantam model, which had reloading with a straight-pull bolt. The mounting rail for the rifle scope or red dot sight is 11 mm, the weaver mounting rail is located in the front part of the stock under the cartridge. The air rifle is equipped with two manometers. One shows the cartridge pressure and the other the regulator pressure. An adjustable cheekpiece made of a pleasant and non-cold material and an adjustable buttpad adapts to every shooter.
Kevlar cartridge, synthetic bullpup type stock ensure the low weight of the air rifle, which is only 3.3 kg, and compact dimensions – the length of the air rifle is 88 cm. Thanks to the Huma regulator, the "Slingshot Hammer" system, which ensures precise air dosing and the Lothar Walther selective barrel, the air rifle is perfectly accurate and has no competition in its price category.
Here you will get PCP air rifles from Brocock/BRK equipped with 3 weaver rails, which are already included in the price of the weapon (it is not standard equipment). Two weaver rails are intended for the installation of optical devices, and one on the lower side of the forearm is used for the installation of accessories (bi-pod, flashlight, tactical grip, laser).
From 2022, the name of Brocock was changed to BRK.
We recommend scopes for BRK air rifles Optisan, Element or Sightron, assembly Optisan and, of course, pellets as ammunition H&N Sport.
