The Brocock Atomic air pistol is made with English precision.
The advantage is the low height of the magazine, so that the upper edge of the magazine ends at the same time as the mounting rail, and the magazine does not interfere anywhere when mounting the riflescope. The cartridge is filled using the Quickfill connector. A two-stage adjustable trigger is a matter of course. The end of the barrel is finished with a 1/2" UNF female thread. The gun is equipped with sights and an 11mm mounting rail.
Courtesy of its selected German match-grade barrel, and weight and position-adjustable trigger, accuracy is exceptional; the Atomic XR can punch single-hole five-shot groups in excess of 30 metres. As standard, its shrouded barrel includes an adaptor to take an additional silencer that reduces muzzle report to a whisper.
Its side lever action is effortless – and cycles the 11-shot (.22 cal.) magazine in a split second. For more deliberate target work, the Atomic XR is also supplied with a single shot loading tray.
The Atomic features an 11mm top rail for scope mounting, but it can be fitted with Brocock’s Picatinny rail kit to take additional accessories, such as day/night scopes. Its one-piece, machined alloy piece chassis also sports an integrated Picatinny rail for add-ons like a laser, torch, bipod etc.
