Depth
A 14-inch diameter probe right out of the box suggests no soft play. It's supposed to be deep, and it is deep, but it's practical and comfortable! The performance is similar to that of a two-box VLF detector, but it is lighter and more comfortable for working in difficult field conditions.
Modulated sound
Sound determines the size and type of an object by changing its pitch and volume, and is related to conduction and discrimination. A typical VCO, necessary in an area where large particles may be present.
Below is a video showing how the detector handles large and difficult flat objects. Changing the tone modulation allows you to separate the color from the iron.
