The Double Bit Ax is based on North American work axes that have been modified for use in ax throwing. Both edges are identical, the center of gravity and the handle are carefully positioned so that the ax rotates well in flight. The dimensions and design of the ax correspond to the rules for ax throwing. The Double Bit Ax can also be used as a working ax in the woods, although this is a rarity these days. The handle is tied with paracord.
