The Lobo machete is a great machete with the shapes of a large survival knife, the blade thickness is 3mm. The blade is made of 1075 carbon steel. It is a solid steel that is easy to sharpen, but it is not completely stainless, so it needs to be cleaned regularly and a drop of oil added once in a while. The handle is made of micarta.
