The Departure Bolo machete is a machete with a typical Bolo blade. A remarkable shape that is great for more demanding tasks. The blade is made of 1075 steel, a strong steel that is easy to sharpen. However, 1075 steel is not completely stainless, so you need to clean it regularly and add a drop of oil once in a while. The knife has a solid full-tang construction. This means that the thickness of the blade goes all the way through the handle. The handle is made of walnut wood.
