Traditional lapping is very laborious and consists of manually stretching the lead rollers of the barrel. The Bore Lapping Kit allows you to speed up and simplify this process. You simply coat your bullets in lapping paste and fire them. Lapping with this kit is really easy. Wrap, reload, fire, usually five shots for each grain of lapping paste.
This kit is designed primarily to remove manufacturing defects in new barrels, but can also be used to repair the bore of old guns, including small calibers.
