The ASG CZ Shadow 2 air pistol is designed by the best competitive shooters - it is perfectly balanced, created for speed and accuracy.
The CZ Shadow 2 air pistol is based on a real weapon with all the details and functionalities. The finish is made of anodized aluminum and features a less rounded and "edgier" look. The gun is all-metal and the only one with a real disassembly! The weight of the slide has increased slightly compared to previous versions due to the wider slide. The added weight and slide design improve shooting accuracy and slide action. The gun is designed for steel BB shots only.
The grip on the slide is deeper and more robust, which significantly improves the shooter's grip on the slide when cocking. The stock in the front and back is enlarged and roughened. Combined with the thin CNC grips, these small details ensure a great grip on the pistol. The trigger guard was also enlarged for better access and control of the trigger even when wearing gloves.
The Shadow 2 also has a better stock angle, with a deeper recess under the slide and at the trigger. This ensures a more natural and firm grip of the gun in the hand and reduces the force of recoil when fired. The enlarged magazine release can be set to 3 possible positions - simply by using an Allen key. The catch of the magazine is stronger and when the release is pressed, the shooter gets a more accurate response to the press.
The blow-back system of the shutter enhances the realistic look when shooting. Blow-Back also makes shooting easier by pulling the cock after the shot. Double Action - the cock does not have to be cocked for rapid fire.
The principle of the CO system: a single-use 12g cartridge is inserted into the weapon and mechanically closed and impaled on the mandrel. When the trigger is pulled, the cock hits the valve striker and the valve opens. This is where CO gas from the cartridge begins to flow, which propels the bullet out of the barrel. One cartridge lasts about 60-80 shots, depending on the model of the weapon, the ambient temperature and the rate of fire. Cartridges are disposable, they must be fired and not left in the gun under unnecessary pressure.
