The tactical Brocock Commander HiLite XR air rifle with its Cerakote coating, Kevlar cartridge and a collapsible gunstock with pistol grip benefits from the mutual cooperation of Daystate and Brocock. The Brocock Commander HiLite XR Brocock has an improved and patented “Slingshot Hammer” system, which guarantees better air processing and lower consumption. This system, along with the Huma pressure regulator (of Dutch production), improves the shot consistency, making the rifle far more precise than its competition.
The rifle has a Lothar Walther barrel 432 mm long. It is a “shrouded” type barrel, meaning the barrel itself is covered with an outer layer, serving as a sound moderator. The barrel is finished with ½ UNF male thread, allowing for further moderator mounting.
The trigger is adjustable, with the safety being placed at the front. The rifle can be reloaded using the side lever action. This seems to us as an improvement with regards to the previous Commander HR model version, where reloading was done with the straight-pull bolt action. The mounting rail for riflescope, or a collimator sight, is of a Weaver type. The mounting rail for accessories, also Weaver, is placed at the front part of the stock under the cartridge. The rifle is equipped with two pressure gauges, one showing the pressure in the cartridge, other showing the pressure of the regulator. The collapsible stock and the pistol grip are fully compatible with the AR15 accessories.
The Kevlar cartridge and the AR15 type collapsible stock ensure the low weight of the air rifle (merely 2.9 kg) and its compact size (64 cm with the stock collapsed). Unfolded, the rifle is 103 cm long. Thanks to the Huma regulator, the “Slingshot Hammer” system (which ensures the precise air processing), and to the choice Lothar Walther barrel, this air rifle is flawlessly accurate and without par in its price range.
For Brocock air rifles, we recommend Optisan, Discovery or Sightron riflescopes, BKL mountings, and naturally the H&N Sport pellets for ammo.
